The B.C. Lions put out a press release this morning pledging a major announcement after the first quarter of tonight’s home game against the Toronto Argonauts, and TSN’s Farhan Lalji is reporting on X that it will be that the Lions will play two games in Kelowna out of an expanded Apple Bowl next season.

The Lions won’t have be able to use B.C. Place for six weeks during their 2026 season because World Cup games at the dome are scheduled from June 11 to July 19. There will be prep time required ahead of that.

There’s no word yet on when those two games will exactly be. It’s believed those six weeks for the Lions will include two home games, three away games and a bye week.
