Strictly Come Dancing's Amber Davies has had a whirlwind career from the West End all the way to the Love Island villa.

The 28-year-old star was confirmed as the latest celebrity to join the Strictly Come Dancing line-up after Dani Dyer had to pull out just days before the first live show due to an injury.

Similarly to Dani, Amber Davies first found fame on Love Island before becoming a major West End star. In 2017, she won the ITV dating show alongside Kem Cetinay. The pair broke up four months after the series ended.

"This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life," the Welsh actress said. "I've watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true."
