BRANSON, Mo. — A fire broke out in a modular home in Branson, causing the residents to be transported to the hospital.

According to the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, at 8:20 p.m., on Sept. 26, five Western Taney County Fire stations were dispatched to 160 Northwood Trail, off Highway T. Four more stations arrived after the fire spread to the attic.

The area did not have a fire hydrant, so tankers were used to haul water from approximately three and a half miles away.

The residents who were at home both had smoke inhalation and were transported to the hospital. An additional resident who was not home at the time of the fire had chest pain and was also transported to the hospital.
