AUSTIN (KXAN) — All Texas does is beat ranked opponents.

The No. 2 Longhorns logged their eighth consecutive top-25 win with a sweep over No. 21 Missouri 25-19, 26-24, 27-25 on Friday at Gregory Gym to move to 10-0 on the season. It's also the team's fifth consecutive sweep.

Texas swept Vanderbilt on Wednesday in the Southeastern Conference opener at Gregory Gym.

Torrey Stafford led the Longhorns with 15 kills and three service aces against the Tigers. Cari Spears had 14 kills and Ayden Ames chipped in eight. Ella Swindle had 37 set assists on 56 total kills to go with 10 digs.

The Longhorns had four service aces in the first game to set the tone early. Emma Halter had two of them within the first four points, and then Texas went on to win the set comfortably.
