Some of the over 2 million voters registered in San Diego County began receiving voter information pamphlets for the Nov. 4 special election in the mail Saturday.

The pamphlets contain information on voting options, election deadlines, and a sample ballot as a guide to how the official one will look.

Voters can find a list of official ballot drop boxes and vote centers in the pamphlet or online at the Registrar of Voters. Those who signed up to get the pamphlet electronically should have received an email with the same information and a link to the Registrar’s office.

People throughout California are being asked to decide whether to adopt Proposition 50, an amendment to the State Constitution related to redistricting.
