CARLISLE – The State College boys cross country team, the defending PIAA Class 3A team champions, gave notice Saturday that they’re locked and loaded for a return engagement at the top of the state medal stand.

The Carlisle Invitational Champions (big school) race featured a pulsating, three-way duel to the tape with State College’s Theo Oppermann and Luke Bradbury battling Jason Baker of Cape Henlopen (Del.) High School for the top prize.
