Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated an automated multi-level parking facility at the M Block in Greater Kailash 1, announcing that around 100 similar facilities will be set up across the Capital to provide a permanent solution to the city’s parking troubles.
The facility, constructed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) at a cost of Rs 63.74 crore, can accommodate 399 vehicles.
Addressing the issue of parking, Gupta said, “Parking is a major concern in Delhi. It causes traffic jams and road chaos, and often leads to disputes among people. Our government is making every effort to resolve the city’s parking problem. We believe that parking facilities should be provided wherever technology permits.” She added that the government will offer all possible financial support fo
