Loud chants of the German toast "prost" — or "cheers" — filled the room of the Fest Hall at the Frederick Fairgrounds for Frederick's Oktoberfest on Saturday.

The 24th Oktoberfest was a chance for many to celebrate their German heritage, drink beer, dress up and dance their hearts out.
