Ruben Amorim is coming under increased pressure after Manchester United lost again in the Premier League.

Having beaten Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford last weekend, Amorim had the chance to earn back-to-back league wins for the first time since he joined United nearly a year ago.

But once again, he failed, overseeing a poor 3-1 defeat away to Brentford. United were battered in the opening stages before a goal from Benjamin Sesko , his first for the club, gave them hope of a comeback.

But when Bruno Fernandes missed his penalty after a bizzare decision not to show Brentford's Nathan Collins a red card, it became clear that it wouldn't be United's day. The Bees added a third in stoppage time, condemning Amorim to his 17th league defeat in just 33 games.
