SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good afternoon! The workweek starts off quiet and comfortable due to a high-pressure system being parked over most of the country! The system should keep our temperatures above the average and our precipitation below the average through this week!

Highs this afternoon will be in the middle and upper 80s, with quite a few areas hitting the lower 90s! Skies should be partly cloudy through the afternoon and into the night.

We should see more cloud cover going into Tuesday, which should not affect temperatures by much, but they may drop a degree or two through Tuesday afternoon. Highs through the rest of the week will stay in the same range, but rain chances may rise for some.
