Fans watching a high school football game in Tennessee witnessed one of the most bizarre plays ever, as a player came off the sideline to make a touchdown-saving tackle that unsurprisingly led to an ejection.
Sycamore High School was playing Fairview High School when linebacker Silvio Rizzo prevented an opposing defensive back from scoring an easy TD by running onto the field to bring him down, although he was not part of the play.
The referees immediately kicked him out, and he has since been suspended, so Sycamore will be without him for their next game.
The schools, located in Nashville suburbs, are around 40 miles apart and could be considered rivals.
