Another week, another record-setting performance by Chatham’s Ethan Jordan.

The Laurier Golden Hawks receiver made eight catches for 163 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 59-21 win over the Toronto Varsity Blues in Ontario University Athletics football in Waterloo.

Jordan scored on a 53-yard pass from Cal Wither for his 29th career TD reception, breaking Stefan Ptaszek’s Laurier record set 31 years ago.

Jordan also has the most receiving yards in program history with 3,279, eclipsing Ptaszek’s record of 3,126.

“I’m bored of it,” Laurier head coach Michael Faulds said. “I think everyone’s kind of bored that Ethan Jordan gets 100-yard games, gets multiple touchdowns every game. All kidding.
