LOGAN – As it has done in recent years, Utah Theatre in downtown Logan will celebrate the fast-approaching Halloween holiday with a month-long festival of animated and live action spooky films during October.
Once again, the scary film fest will climax with late-night movie presentations of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Oct. 25, 30 and 31.
For a change of pace, the October festival will lead off with the Joe Dante comedy Gremlins on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Friday, Oct. 3.
Released in 1984, Gremlins is a black comedy written by Chris Columbus that draws on legends of mythical mischievous creatures that were alleged to cause malfunctions in aircraft going back to World War II.
