If you're wondering if drinking tap water is safe, a new report is easing those fears because Florida is listed as one of the top states with the cleanest drinking water

According to Evans Leak Detection , Florida has the tenth-cleanest tap water in the U.S, with 264.01 water quality violations per 100,000 residents.

To gather their data, researchers analyzed data from the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Safe Drinking Water Information System and then ranked states based on the number of water violations.

Hawaii topped the list with 156.42 water violations per 100,000 residents.

“What really stands out is how much cleaner the water systems are in the top-performing states compared to those at the bottom of the list," said Ron Hoffmeyer, CEO at Evans Leak Detection. "Clean, tr
