Arkansas became the latest program to make a September coaching change when it fired Sam Pittman on Sept. 28 . Pittman's name has been on virtually every hot seat list for the past few seasons and Arkansas finally made the move after the Razorbacks' 2-3 start .
Arkansas is the fourth Power 4 program to be fire its coach early this season, joining UCLA (DeShaun Foster), Virginia Tech (Brent Pry) and Oklahoma State (Mike Gundy).
While Pittman never made recruiting Florida a major priority (the Razorbacks signed just five high school players from the state since 2020), Arkansas currently has a pair of commits from Florida in its 2026 class.
