It appears Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy is still working his way back to full speed.

Head coach Jon Cooper told reporters last week that he expected the star goaltender to resume practising on Monday, but that turned out not to be the case as Vasilevskiy was absent from practice again.

In some good news for Lightning fans, Cooper told reporters that Vasilevskiy did skate on Monday before the main group hit the ice and now expects the goaltender to return to practice on Tuesday.

Vasilevskiy, 31, has not participated in any organized practice sessions with the Lightning since Sept. 19. What is keeping him out has not been disclosed.

“He’s just going through some treatments and stuff that, you know, it’s player management,” Cooper told reporters last week.
