A Mercer County man has pleaded guilty to wire fraud and a form of money laundering involving the health center where he once served as CEO.
John Laeng, CEO of Sharon-based Primary Health Network from 2011 to 2014, pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to two counts of a 17-count criminal indictment that was brought by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Pittsburgh. The money laundering charge grew out of transactions exceeding $10,000 in criminal proceeds.
Sentencing for Mr. Laeng was scheduled March 16, 2026 before U.S. District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan. Mr. Laeng faces up to 20 years in prison plus fines, depending on his criminal history and other factors.
