ANN ARBOR — It will be strength vs. strength when Michigan runs the ball against Wisconsin on Saturday.
The Badgers have the top-ranked run defense in the country, having allowed just 50 yards per game through their 2-2 start. Their opponents have had moderate or even great success on the ground in some of their other games.
Michigan enters Saturday’s matchup (noon ET, FOX) with the country’s eighth-best rushing offense (253.5 yards per game). Running back Justice Haynes ranks third in that category and has gone over 100 yards in each of Michigan’s four games.
