GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - A man is behind bars after police discovered a victim was shot last week in a Goldsboro neighborhood.
Wayne County deputies arrested 18-year-old Jamir Lowery, of Goldsboro, yesterday in the 100 block of Perry Farm Lane, charging him with attempted first-degree murder.
Goldsboro police were called to a shooting last Thursday at around 3 p.m. in the 3200 block of Central Heights Road.
They found 18-year-old Jacob Laboy, of Goldsboro, with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to UNC Health Wayne and released after treatment.
Lowery is being held without bond.
