ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Latin American Association and Delta Air Lines helped put food on the table for hundreds of struggling metro Atlanta families.

On Saturday, they held a fresh food distribution event.

Delta employee and Latin American Association board member Julieta del Cueto said it’s all about supporting families during tough times.

“We work hard. We want to deliver everything that we can – our passion, our love, to the community. Just give back,” del Cueto said.

The Latin American Association says it distributed more than 29,000 pounds of food in August 2025, almost double what they were able to do last August.
