After losing about half the players who contributed to the Greater Ontario Hockey League’s first-ever Eastern Conference championship and a berth in the Sutherland Cup final, the St. Catharines Falcons headed into the 2025-26 junior-B season with some holes to fill.

As a work in progress, they are progressing quite well. They have earned at least a point in each of their first six games of the season, and on Friday night defeated the visiting Brantford Titans for their fourth win in a row.

“So far, it’s been a healthy start. We’re six games in, we’re five wins and an overtime loss,” head coach Tyler Bielby said. “If you’re talking purely about getting wins, we’re happy with the start, but it’s a raw group that we’re excited to work with.
