ST. LOUIS — A 17-year-old boy was charged Monday with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting last week inside a Schnucks grocery store in north St. Louis, police said.
A police news release said the boy has been taken into juvenile custody. His name has not been disclosed.
Police on Monday also announced that the victim was Henry Armstrong, 20.
The shooting happened Sept. 21 inside the Schnucks at 3431 Union Boulevard in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.
Police previously said the victim and a male suspect had been involved in an altercation before the suspect pulled out a gun and fired shots at the victim.
