JB Pritzker Accuses ICE of ‘Harassing People for Not Being White’ Amid Chicago Immigration Crackdown

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker slammed the Trump administration and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement for the agency’s presence in Chicago.

Over the weekend, federal troops descended on the city at the request of President Donald Trump . Similar to the crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., the troops have been spotted downtown around a number of city landmarks.

On Monday, Pritzker held a press conference criticizing Trump’s decision to send troops to the city. He also accused them of “harassing people for not being white.” He continued:
