The Volunteer Center of Reno County, a United Way agency, is a central clearinghouse for volunteer opportunities in Reno County. Area nonprofit and governmental organizations have submitted the following requests for help. The FOOD BANK OF RENO COUNTY needs clerks on Tuesdays from 12:45-4 p.m. Volunteers work with two others filling food orders. The volunteers at the Food Bank assist clients in filling their food order and re-stock the small pantry area as needed. Volunteers must be non-judgmental and able to keep information confidential. Some lifting is required to retrieve additional food from the coolers and to weigh donations
