Ohio's open burning restrictions return this week.

State law prohibits open burning outdoors during select hours five months out of the year, including October and November.

"With dry conditions throughout the state, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry and the Ohio State Fire Marshal urge Ohioans to take precautions now and follow the state’s outdoor burning regulations if they plan to burn debris," the Ohio Division of Wildlife said in a Facebook post.
