A Jacksonville restaurant owner changed how she runs her business after a man was shot inside early Sunday morning.

A man on a bicycle rode up to Que Padre Mexican Restaurant around 1 a.m., then shot through a window, hitting a customer inside before riding off, the owner, Nely Osorio, said.

The customer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

In footage given to News4JAX, workers can be seen running frantically into the kitchen after the shot was fired.

Moments later, in the same video, the customer who was shot could be seen raising his shirt and exposing blood.

In another video shared with News4JAX, police are seen tending to the man’s gunshot wound on his back.

“Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it,” Osorio said.
