An 18-year-old man from Stevensville died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90 east of Missoula on Friday.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the man was headed eastbound near the town of Clinton at about 9:50 a.m. on Friday when the crash happened. The Suzuki GSX went off the right side of the road and came to rest about 500 feet off the road. The man died at the scene.

His name has not been released. Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash. The man was wearing a helmet.

Road conditions were dry at the time.
