MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy received $10,436 from the Living Well Foundation to support a project centered around treating stroke patients in rural communities.
ULM is launching the Rural Health Stroke Education Project as an educational program with on-site training at rural emergency departments and EMS bases. The Living Well Foundation’s grant will help support this project.
The project will also feature a webpage and mobile app, developed in collaboration with ULM computer science students, that offers real-time stroke management guidance and clinical pharmacy expertise.
