LINCOLN, Neb. —

The 36-year-old man facing several charges in a domestic assault and kidnapping case in Lincoln was held on bond during a court appearance Monday.

Christopher Collins is charged with kidnapping, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit felony after the incident last week.

A Lancaster County judge set bond for Collins at 10 percent of $10 million.

Lincoln police said 42-year-old Jesserae Beck was reported missing after her children requested a welfare check. Police initially found evidence of a struggle at Collins’ residence, but no sign of either individual.

According to court documents, officers found blood stains on a table and carpet and chunks of hair when they entered Collins' home.
