SHEPHERDSTOWN - There was much excitement in the air on Saturday as the Shepherd University football team got ready to play its first home game of the season at Ram Stadium against Kutztown.
It didn't take long for that excitement turned to anxiety, as the Golden Bears scored early and often en route to a dominating 49-10 victory over the Rams to remain undefeated on the season.
It was Shepherd's fourth straight loss to start the season, as the Rams (0-4) struggled to get anything going on the offensive side and to stop Kutztown (4-0) on the defensive side.
