WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced together at the White House on Monday that they are backing Trump's 20-point plan for an end to the war in Gaza and a future for the Palestinian territory as part of a broader effort for “eternal peace in the Middle East.”

The pair said Hamas had yet to agree to the proposal, unveiled by the White House just before the two leaders emerged in front of press in the State Dining Room. And the two ended the event declining to take questions from reporters, with Trump citing the need to “wait for these documents to be signed and get everybody in line.”
