The first flex of the 2025 NFL season belongs to the Patriots .

New England’s Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 12 at 4:25 p.m. at Caesars Superdome will now be played at 1 p.m.

The San Francisco 49ers-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game will be moved to the 4:25 p.m. time slot. The two teams were scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium.

The flexed game comes a day after the Patriots blew out the Carolina Panthers, 42-13 . Both the Bucs and the 49ers lost their respective Week 4 games.

The last time the NFL flexed a Patriots game came in 2023 when their Week 15 game against the Kansas City Chiefs was moved from “Monday Night Football” to the 1 p.m. time slot on Sunday. It marked the first time the league moved a game fr
