CLEVELAND, Ohio - Police have raided three Cleveland-area massage parlors after executing search warrants as part of a human trafficking investigation, officials announced Monday.

The raids were part of a larger, statewide operation that targeted nine Ohio parlors and the people who ran them. Authorities seized $62,000 in cash.

The three Cleveland-area massage parlors searched were: Green Massage Spa on Madison Avenue in Lakewood; Dandelion’s Promise Foot Spa on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland; and U Mei Spa on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, according to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s office.

Summit County authorities shuttered two massage parlors after police searched Pearl Spa on West Avenue in Tallmadge and Blue Sky Spa on West Wilbeth Road in Akron.
