STORRS, CT. (WFSB) - Team practice began Monday for the UConn women’s basketball team.

The team is trying to develop cohesiveness with several new members on the squad. However, the Huskies are not concerned, as it is very early in the pre-season for the defending national champions.

The learning period never expires, and Geno Auriemma is primed to get his lesson plan distributed.

In these early practices, the veterans often take their understanding of the workload and try to find a way through.

The team will get a chance to show what they’ve learned on October 13th when they face Boston College in an exhibition game.
