ROCKFORD, Ill. — 13 WREX is proud to once again partner with the Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) for the Rescue Rockford Blood Drive.

This year's two-week initiative runs from Monday, Sept. 29 through Saturday, Oct. 11. The blood drive encourages the Rockford community to donate blood to support local hospitals and rescue missions while helping keep a stable blood supply.

“Every donation can save up to three lives,” said Lisa Entrikin, CEO of RRVBC. “Those lives could belong to a family member, a friend, or even a neighbor. That’s why we’re so excited to partner with WREX and make donating blood easy, rewarding, and meaningful for the community.”
