The winner for last week’s SouthCoast Boys Athlete of the Week poll was Bishop Stang’s Jake Fernandes. Fernandes received more than 4,000 votes (52%) to earn the honor.

In two games, Fernandes had a combined 12 saves.

Previous winners were Old Rochester’s Owen Harrington and Bishop Stang’s Nolan Ciszewski.

The winner of the SouthCoast Preseason Boys Soccer Player of the Year was Bishop Stang’s Tiago Pais with 23% of the vote. The winner of the SouthCoast Preseason Golfer of the Year was New Bedford’s Jayden Derosa with 42% of the vote.
