JEROME — The National Park Service (NPS) held a special event Sept. 26 in celebration of upcoming restoration and construction projects at three southern Idaho national parks.

The developments are in collaboration with the National Park Foundation and Friends of Minidoka, with Friday’s event featuring remarks from NPS leadership and partners, a ceremonial groundbreaking, and a preview of the Minidoka National Historic Site restoration projects, according to a news release from NPS Assistant Jennifer Jones.
