A 57-year-old hunter from Illinois was found alive in the Colorado wilderness after he went missing and spent two nights in winter storm conditions.

In a news release, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) said they received a report around 6:38 p.m. local time on Monday, Sept. 22, about a hunter who vanished in the Rawah Wilderness area.
