Naomi “Ruth” Newkirk (Amory Funeral Home)

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Naomi “Ruth” Newkirk, on September 25th 2025, at the age of 89.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Born on November 15th, 1935 in Blair County, PA, Ruth lived a life full of faith, family and joy. She was known for her kindness, humor, generosity and strength.

Ruth is survived by sister, Doris Mitchell, her children: Michael Fehr, Steve Fehr, Diane Mullins, Melissa Demarest and Alan Brandon, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, She is preceded in death by her siblings Ted, Bob, Geraldine, Alice, Perry and Janet Newkirk.

Her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
