TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Collar Words, a nonprofit art organization, broke ground on its new headquarters in Troy. The facility will be housed in the historic Neemes Foundry, which was originally built in 1886 and sat vacant for years.
Officials said it was revitalized through funding from the New York State Council of the Arts. The facility will have a contemporary gallery, affordable studios, arts co-working space, and community gathering space designed to host exhibitions, performances and educational programs.
