FARGO, N.D. — Mylee Michel has one day left as a North Dakota High School golfer.
Michel, a senior for the Jamestown High School golf team, competed at the 2025 Class A State Golf Tournament on Monday. The senior finished her opening round with a 90. Michel's teammate, Braelyn Wiese, also qualified for State. Wiese's scores were not available when The Jamestown Sun went to press.
EDC champion West Fargo Sheyenne had a commanding lead after day one, shooting a team score of 293. West Region team champion, Mandan, is in second place with a score of 313.
Fargo Davies senior Rose Solberg carded a four-under par round of 68 to have three-shot lead. Two WDA golfers — Izzy Hale of Mandan and Lola Huber of St. Mary's are in the top 10 after day No. 1. Hale shot a 71 while Huber carded a 75.
