It's almost October, and that means it's time for one of my favorite times of the year. No, not Halloween. Halloween is fine and all. I love the candy. The costumes are fun. But I want to talk about postseason baseball and four teams that are wearing costumes heading into the wild-card round.

The MLB has three division winners and three wild-card teams from each league — National and American — that make it to the playoffs. Among those 12 teams, I think there are four teams wearing phony playoff costumes. ×
