SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The bishop of the Grand Blanc, Michigan Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has shared a message of unity and hope following the shooting at their meetinghouse that killed at least four people and injured several others.

In a video shared on social media, Bishop Jeffrey Schaub thanked the broader community for reaching out, sharing their prayers, and offering help.

"I want everyone to know and understand that our ward and our community will be well," Schaub said. "We will come together through the power of our savior Jesus Christ, and we will be happy and find joy again."
