CLEVELAND (WJW/AP) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have been hard at work in the offseason, looking ahead after the team was eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in five games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

But Cavs star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is also looking forward to something else: marrying his fiancée, singer Coco Jones.

"Man, that's my dog. I love her to death," Mitchell told reporters when asked about his engagement during Monday's media day. "She's an amazing human being. She brings me peace."

Mitchell announced their engagement on Instagram in July, sharing a photo with Jones. In the photo, the couple was seen embracing as Jones showed off her engagement ring.

A video also showed the pair walking alongside a swimming pool before Mitchell got down on one knee.
