In the most recent KOAT and Albuquerque Journal poll ahead of Albuquerque's next mayoral election, 47% of voters disapproved of incumbent mayor Tim Keller's job performance.

Voters were asked: "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Tim Keller is handling his job as Mayor of Albuquerque?"

42% said they approved, while 10% said they were undecided, or don't know.

Despite his declining approval rating, Keller is leading the pack of mayoral candidates, according to a similar poll . 37% of voters said they remain undecided in the race with 29% saying they'll vote for incumbent mayor Tim Keller.

Voters were also asked: "How would you rate the strength of Albuquerque's economy?"

50% responded fair, 26% said good, 22% said poor, 2% said don't know, while 1% responded excellent.
