PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) -A man will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty in Pulaski County to involuntary manslaughter.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Colin Mar was arrested in March for being a person of interest in a homicide investigation in St. Robert, Mo.

The sheriff’s office said the victim was trying to break up a fight. Witnesses say the victim hit one of the people involved, and then Mar shot him. The person the victim hit was Mar’s girlfriend.

Mar’s sentencing is set for Oct. 15.
