SOUTH RYEGATE, Vt. (WCAX) - Two suspects wanted for attempted murder were caught in Massachusetts on Monday.
According to Vermont State Police, Justin French, 36, and Kayla Cabey, 33, both of Bradford, were involved in a road rage incident where a gun was fired.
The incident happened on September 20th shortly after 5 p.m. on U.S. Route 302 in South Ryegate.
Police did not release specific details about the confrontation, but said it stretched through the towns of Groton, Ryegate, and Newbury, and that it resulted in gunfire. They also said it was not random and that the people involved knew each other. They did not say whether anyone was injured.
French and Cabey face charges of attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and criminal threatening.
