SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Police are investigating after a deceased individual was found near a business in Springfield on Monday, September 29.

The Springfield Police Department tells Ozarks First that they discovered the body near N. Eastgate Ave. on Monday.

The department says they do not believe that foul play was involved in the incident.

The incident is currently an active investigation.
