DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — It's been two years since the death of Stephen Perkins in an on-duty police shooting at his home in Decatur.
Those two years have been full of community calls for action, investigations, court actions and a city's attempts to heal. From the night of the shooting to earlier this year, when former Decatur Police Officer Mac Marquette was charged with murder in the case, to the recent naming of Perkins' own home street after him, much has happened.
