Boulder’s Bluebird Music Festival, one that Nashville superstar Langhorne Slim calls “one of my favorite weekends of the year,” returns this spring with its “biggest” lineup yet to the University of Colorado Boulder’s Macky Auditorium, according to a release.
The “very special headliner” for the eighth iteration hasn’t been named yet, but appearing the two-day slate is Shakey Graves, Mon Rovia, Ocie Elliott, Chaparelle, Erin Rae, Kid Reverie (Steve Varney of Gregory Alan Isakov’s band) and LVDY are on the initial lineup.
“Though we can’t let that headliner cat out of the bag quite yet, we promise that you’re going to be very happy,” the release states. “The festival will sell out.”
The festival runs noon-3 p.m. and 6-9:45 p.m. April 18-19.
